fan of fiction murder mysteries

I am unpacking boxes from at least 15 years ago.  I have come across my all time favourite book, The Best Loved Doll by Rebecca Caudill, published 1962 for a cost of 45 cents.

It took me back to the days, while living in Kitimat, of reading Nancy Drew every day until I had read all of them and had to wait for new ones to be published.  Not sure what I ever did with them.

It is upon this memory that I realized how many years I have been interested in mysteries.  The evolution of my interest has now moved into forensic anthropology murder mysteries (by Jefferson Bass) along with murder mysteries by Janet Evanovich (Stephanie Plum, bail bonds) and Charlaine Harris (Aurora Teagarden , librarian) and now reading Sue Grafton (Kinsey Millhone, PI) alphabet series.  I had started reading again, last year, with Nelson DeMille's Plum Island.  Next was Nancy Martin (Blackbird Sisters) series.

I will next be reading Sophie Kinsella (Shopaholic series).  The people at Chapters/Indigo Books are an intuitive group of people who know my diverse interest in genres.  They have nudged me toward most of these awesome reads! Along with my sister who started this!

If you have discovered good series reads along this genre, let me know, Thanks!
